Our commitment
ExtremeSpec wants its pages to be accurate, and we fix mistakes when we find them or when readers point them out.
What counts as an error
- A wrong specification, such as a core count, memory size or power rating
- An outdated price or a model that has been replaced
- A broken or misleading link
- Wording that is unclear or easy to misread
How to report one
Email editorial@extremespec.net. Include the page URL and a short description of what is wrong. A link to the manufacturer’s page or another source helps us check faster.
What happens next
The ExtremeSpec Editorial Team compares the claim against manufacturer information. If the report is right, we correct the page. When a change is significant, we add a note on the page so readers can see that it was updated.
Prices and availability
Prices and stock change often, sometimes within hours. The store’s own page is always the final source. If a price on ExtremeSpec no longer matches the store, tell us and we will update it where we can.
For general questions, see Contact Us. Our review standards are in the Editorial Policy.
What we will not do
- Quietly delete a page to hide a mistake that readers may have relied on
- Ignore a report because the correction is small
- Change a recommendation because someone asked us to for commercial reasons
Opinions and disagreements
Not every report is an error. If you disagree with a comparison but the facts are right, we may still read your note and consider whether the wording could be clearer. A difference of opinion does not by itself lead to a correction.
